#BlackLivesMatterBeloit challenges the Beloit campus to confront implicit bias--specifically anti-Blackness. At the beginning of the week, participants take a black/white implicit bias test along with a second bias test of their choice. Over the week, participants note manifestations of bias, whether in themselves or others, overt or subtle, and share anonymous examples of observed bias through an online form. At Friday's culminating event (Nov 10th, 12:30-1:20pm), we reflect on the most commonly reported examples of racial bias and collectively devise strategies to combat it.

Event: Friday, November 10th, 12:30 pm - 1:20 pm, Pearsons Hall: Moore Lounge
