In 2001 Actor Daryl "Chill" Mitchell was paralyzed from the waist down in a motorcycle accident. After the accident Daryl got full support from his family and friends, including Denzel Washington and Chris Tucker, who encouraged him to continue his career. He has appeared in over 17 movies including House Party, Sgt. Bilko and 10 Things I Hate About You. He has also appeared on over 20 tv shows including Law & Order and Desperate Housewives. While continuing his acting career Daryl also serves as the Minority Outreach spokesperson. In 2010 Daryl won an NAACP Image Award.
