Talk Title: "Lost in Migration: Literature and the German Refugee Crisis”
Bio: Katrina Nousek (NEH Hurvis Fellow) teaches courses on transnational developments in 20th- and 21st-century German culture at Lawrence University. Her current research project, Pasts with Futures: Postcommunist Subjects in Contemporary German Literature, investigates geopolitics and time in literary narratives after the end of the Soviet Union. She holds a PhD in German Studies from Cornell University.
