The Beloit Artist Resource Network (The BARN) aims to help and promote musicians, visual artists, theater performers, dancers, film makers, performance artists, venues, organizers, and touring artists in Beloit, Wisconsin.

Art, dance, music, and performance has a phenomenal impact on a community in its social wealth and economic wealth. With this in mind, the BARN helps to support community interaction in the arts to promote discussion and collaboration.

These discussions are valuable in bringing together people of different cultures, belief systems, disciplines, and social classes. They allow a community to work together in the future, and can inspire new people to join that community.

The BARN's goals include:
connecting musicians, visual artists, theater performers, dancers, film makers, and performance artists
helping to promote shows, galleries, concerts, and other performances/work
connecting venues to artists
offering events and opportunities for those in the network
offering information to touring artists/performers about connecting to our community and finding opportunities to show their work here.
