"How Studying Economics Made Me an Entrepreneur" a public lecture

Niko Skievaski, Madison-based entrepreneur, will speak about the role studying economics played in his career in a public presentation titled How Studying Economics Made Me an Entrepreneur.  Skievaski presides over 100state, a non-profit organization that provides workspace and mentorship for entrepreneurial professional and is a co-founder of BreadcrumbsQA, a searchable knowledge management platform.

Before venturing on his own, Niko spent three years at Epic, a worldwide leader in the development of software for health care organizations and before that he was an Operations/Metrics Analyst at Wells Fargo. Niko argues that it was the study of economics that has shaped his entrepreneurial career. By focusing on creating value within each company that he worked for, he was able to automate his positions and propel his career forward.

This event is free and open to Beloit College students.
