Host families are needed!

July 19, 2010 at 3:48 pm

Dear Faculty and Staff,

The international student host family program is looking for families (and individual can be families too!) to host this year’s incoming international students.  We have close to 60 new international students arriving in August.  Host families extend hospitality to the students so that they can gain insights into lives in this country other than campus life. In return, the host families have an opportunity to learn from the students they host.

If you are interested (or know of local families that are interested) in hosting a student, please contact Phyllis and Al Wendorf; the email to use is  you can also call them at 608-632-3366. As Phyllis explains below, a number of students still need host families.

If you have questions about the program, please contact me!

Thank you!

Dear Host family,
I want to thank all the families that replied to my recent email requesting host families. We still have a few international students that need a family. If you would like a new student please email or phone me. If you know of anyone that may be interested in hosting a student please let me know, or give them my phone number or email address.
Also, if you are continuing to  host a student from last year please email and let me know so that I can keep my records updated.
These are the students we still need a family for:

China (15)
