Buccaneers Ride First Half to Win at Lakeland

Sheboygan, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer team did all they needed to do in the first half on the way to a 4-1 win over Lakeland College on Wednesday afternoon.

Molly Dickson opened the scoring just over a minute into the match with an unassisted goal.  Nadia Hecker-O'Brien made it 2-0 at 24:05 with her first collegiate goal off an assist from Camilla Jackson.

Dickson got her second goal of the game at 27:16, assisted by Gina Widmer, before the Muskies got on the board at 28:34 to make it 3-1.

Jackson closed out the scoring, assisted by Erin Chambers, at 43:46, setting up a scoreless second 45 minutes.

Alex Spirov made seven saves in net for the win.

The Bucs return to Midwest Conference play on Sunday when they play at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.  Action begins at 1:00 p.m.
