Milwaukee, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer team warmed up for a big Midwest Conference weekend with a 5-0 non-conference victory over Alverno College in Milwaukee on Wednesday.
Molly Dickson provided most of the fireworks with three goals. Dickson scored at 14:32 and 19:28 of the first half to put Beloit up 2-0. Dickson's second goal was assisted by Cat Kealey.
Clare Loxterkamp made it 3-0 seven minutes into the second half, assisted by Liz Ceperley, before Dickson got her third goal of the game one minute later, at 53:07.
For Loxterkamp, a senior, it was her first career Beloit College goal.
Liz Haan closed out the scoring with under eight minutes left on an unassisted goal.
Katie Schurr made five saves in net for the shutout win.
The Buccaneers head back to MWC play at Ripon College on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m. They host Grinnell College at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
