Buccaneers Take Two at MSOE Tri; O'Leary Moves to Second All-Time in Assists

Milwaukee, WI -- The Beloit College Volleyball team kept their winning roll going on Friday with a pair of wins at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Triangular, defeating both MSOE and Marian University 3-1.

The Bucs topped the host Raiders 22-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-11 and then beat Marian 21-25, 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.

Senior setter Caitlin O'Leary recorded 40 assists in the MSOE match and 41 against Marian to move her past Alina Soros (1993-96) for second all-time in career assists.  She now has 3,504 and trails just all-time leader Katie Algrem, who had 4,944 from 2003-06.

The Buccaneers are now off until next Saturday when they host UW-Stevens Point and UW-Stout in Flood Arena on Family and Alumni Day.  The Alumni game will be played after the UW-Stout match, which begins at approximately 2:00 p.m.  Beloit takes on UW-Stevens Point at noon.
