Head Women's Basketball Coach

Jennifer McCormick was named the 12th Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Beloit College on April 14, 2011.

McCormick came to Beloit from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where she served as the top assistant for the past two seasons for the Women’s Basketball team.  In her two seasons she helped lead the team to a pair of IIAC Tournament semifinal appearances.  Her duties included planning practices, player substitution and strategy during games, summer camps, recruiting and scouting.  She also led strength and conditioning workouts for all of the DuHawk teams.

Prior to Loras, McCormick was the Head Girl’s Basketball Coach for four seasons at Arthur High School in Arthur, Illinois, including a 21-5 record and an undefeated Conference Championship season in 2006-07.

A native of Arthur and a 2004 graduate of Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois, McCormick earned a degree in Biology and a Secondary Education Certification.  A four-year letterwinner for the Bluejays and a two-year team captain, she was All-Academic CCIW in 2003-04 and is one of only eight players in the program’s history to play in 99 or more games.

She and Kyle McCormick, one of her assistant coaches, were married in Dubuque, Iowa, on August 4.
