Dave DeGeorgeHead Baseball Coach

Dave DeGeorge took over the Buccaneer Baseball program prior to the 1991 season.

DeGeorge has led the program to the 2009 MWC title and the 2011 MWC
North Division Championship. He was named the MWC North Coach of the Year after both the 2009 and 2011 seasons and was the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association College Coach of the Year in 2009.

A 1989 graduate of Beloit College, DeGeorge has recorded over 275 victories in his career, more than any other coach in the college’s long baseball history. He has the fifth-most victories in Midwest Conference history and has recorded over 50% of Beloit’s all-time victory count on the baseball diamond.

Under his tenure, almost every individual and school record has been established, and nearly 50 of his players have been named First Team All-Midwest Conference. Beloit has advanced to the MWC Tournament five times under DeGeorge’s guidance.

DeGeorge has developed and operates the Buccaneer Baseball Camp for talented high school players during the Winter.  He is also the co-coordinator of the Beloit College Youth Sports Camp during the Summer months.
