Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving team opened their home season on Saturday after spending the first two weekends on the road, hosting Carroll University in a dual meet at the Kresge Natatorium.
The Men tied with the Pioneers 98-98 while the Women fell 125-76.
Earning first-place finishes for the Women were Amalia Dolan in the 1000 Free; Dana Olesch in the 100 Fly; Nora Holte in the 100 Free; and Shaunte Moss in the 100 Breast.
For the Men, Will McAneny and John Kamada both won twice. McAneny took the 50 and 100 Free while Kamada touched first in the 200 IM and 100 Breast. Also earning a first was Nick Snopek in the 1000 Free. The Men's 200 Free Relay of Austin Smith, Snopek, Arthur Staub and McAneny also finished first.
The Buccaneers host the Ted Mullin Hour of Power on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in Kresge before making a trip to Illinois College next Saturday for a dual meet with the Blueboys and Lady Blues. Action Saturday begins at 2:00 p.m.
