Naperville, IL -- Ellie Daniels, a senior defender from Portland, Oregon (St. Mary's Academy) for the Beloit College Women's Lacrosse team, has been named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 17.  The honor was announced by the Conference Office today.

Daniels helped lead the Buccaneers to a 2-0 record last week, the first two wins in the history of the first-year program.
