Women Remain 7th, Men 8th after Day 2 of MWC Championships

Appleton, WI -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving teams held their positions after Day Two of the Midwest Conference Swimming & Diving Championship at Lawrence University.

Will McAneny had the top individual performance of the day for Beloit, finishing fourth in the 400 IM.  

The Men's 800 Free Relay of Greg Schalla, Ike Watson, Arthur Staub and McAneny finished fourth.  The Women's 800 Free Relay team of Beth Remington, Cherrell Phone, Gina Widmer and Nora Holte was sixth.

The Men's 200 Medley Relay of Schalla, Paden DuBois, McAneny and Staub was seventh while the Women's foursome of Madeline Krass, Widmer, Julianne Angeli and Haleigh Thomas were eighth in the same event.

The Championships conclude on Sunday, with the prelims beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the finals beginning at 4:00 p.m.
