Buccaneers Settle for Scoreless Tie at IC

Jacksonville, IL -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team won the shots on goal battle 14-5 but couldn't get one in the back of the net, settling for a 0-0 overtime tie at Illinois College on Saturday afternoon.

The Bucs out-shot IC 26-17 overall and held a 13-5 advantage on corner kicks.  They had three shots in extra time, one in the first ten minutes and two in the second ten, but couldn't get the "golden goal."

BJ Kiser made five saves in net for Beloit, recording his sixth shutout of the season, second most all-time for a season.

Beloit stays in Illinois on Sunday for a match at Knox College.  Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m.
