October 17, 2012 at 5:55 pm

Beloit, WI -- Four days and two postponements later, the Beloit College Men's Soccer team finally got back on the field against Monmouth College on Wednesday, shutting them down 3-0 at the Strong Complex Soccer Field.

Marc Robinson gave Beloit all the scoring they'd need in the opening half, hitting the back of the net just under nine minutes in off a long assist from Martin Garrett-Currie.  He tallied his second goal of the half at the 22:16 mark, assisted by Ryan Munger, to make it 2-0.  Jackson Wilkins added goal #3 off Robinson's assist at 50:02 of the second half.

The Buccaneers out-shot the Fighting Scots 21-8, including 11-3 shots on goal.  BJ Kiser made three saves in net for the win.

The win was the home finale for the Bucs and the final home contest for Robinson, Wilkins and Anthony Racine.

Beloit hits the road for their final four regular season matches, starting at Illinois College this Saturday.  Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m.
