Mequon, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team fought hard to get back to even but Concordia University scored twice in the final 33 minutes to take a 3-1 non-conference decision on Tuesday afternoon.
CUW jumped on top early with a score at the six-minute mark of the match and held that lead into halftime.
The Bucs evened things up at 1-all six minutes into the second half when Jackson Wilkins scored on an assist from Marc Robinson.
But the Falcons broke the tie at 57:01 and then added an insurance tally at 63:28 to close it out.
Concordia held the shot advantage 19-14 and kept Beloit without a corner in the second half.
Michael Kreiser made six saves in net for the Bucs.
The Buccaneers look to rebound as they get back into Midwest Conference play when they host Ripon College at the Strong Complex Soccer Field at 3:30 p.m. saturday.
