Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Men's Lacrosse team finished up a busy day at the Strong Complex and their home schedule in exciting fashion on Saturday night, coming from behind in the final minutes for a 10-9 win over Illinois Wesleyan University.

The Bucs led 3-0 after one on goals by Jacob Pritscher, Matt Kelly and Austin Hyatt before IWU scored the first two of the second to close within one.  Aidan Whinnery made it a two-goal lead at 8:22 of the second but the Titans scored twice in the last 4:40 to make it a 4-4 game at halftime.

Illinois Wesleyan kept it rolling with the only two goals of the third quarter to make it 6-4 after three and added a fifth straight goal early in the fourth quarter to lead 7-4.  Beloit got back-to-back goals from Pritscher and Tommy Porkka to pull back within one at 7-6 with 9:54 left but IWU matched those goals with two of their own to lead 9-6 with 4:11 left.

Pritscher started the big comeback with 2:22 left followed a minute later by Porkka's second goal to make it a 9-8 deficit.  With time running down Hyatt scored his second goal to tie it up at 9-all.  Jack Jenkins then won the ensuing faceoff and got the ball to Liam O'Connor, who hit the back of the net with 14 seconds left for the game-winner.  The Bucs held off the Titans in the final seconds to clinch the win.

Trevor Kenahan made seven saves in net for the win.

The Buccaneers have a week to prepare for their season finale next Saturday at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.  Faceoff is at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time.
