Seniors David Bremner and Michael Horton and sophomore James Lazarcik were recognized for the All-Midwest Conference honors, Bremner being a member of the All-MWC Second Team and Horton and Lazarcik Honorable Mention. Bremner was also honored for becoming a member of Beloit's 1,000-Point Club.
Four team awards were also given out. Sophomore Chris Bremner earned the team's John Erickson Academic Achievement Award; sophomore Steve Dowden was the Johnny Orr Leadership Award recipient; sophomore Laramie Wieseman earned the Bill Knapton Team Spirit Award; and David Bremner was the Coaches Buccaneer Award honoree.
The Bucs finished the season with a 10-13 overall record, 9-9 in the MWC, good for sixth. The team won five of their final six games, including two in overtime and one on a buzzer-beating shot, in a strong drive to end the season. The .500 Conference record marks the first time they've finished at .500 or above in MWC play since the 2002-03 season.
