Bucs Close Out Home Season on Senior Day

Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Football team finished up the home portion of their 2012 schedule with a 42-7 loss to St. Norbert College on Saturday at Strong Stadium.

Dillon Hess, Raymond Thomas, Zach Bock, Anthony Crivello, Joe Carmody and Stephen Porter played their final home game for the Buccaneers on Senior Day.

The Green Knights started quick, scoring four times in the opening quarter and twice more in the second to lead 42-0 at the break.  The Buccaneers got on the scoreboard at 5:16 of the third quarter on Lukeson Versulien's 12-yard end-around.  Matias Grande added the point-after to close out the scoring.

Lucas McLeran passed for 144 yards while Hess caught six passes for 64 yards to lead the offense.  Versulien finished with 120 all-purpose yards, including 78 on kickoff returns.

On defense Antonio Jones had ten tackles while Derrell Carter had nine and Daniel Collins eight.  Alan Ham and Mike Roth combined for a sack.

The Buccaneers close out the 2012 season next Saturday at Carroll University in Waukesha.  Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m.
