The Beloit Block courses are open to undergraduate students from other schools seeking an intensive and collaborative learning experience. At Beloit, faculty and students put the liberal arts into practice. What's learned in the classroom does not stay in the classroom here - it is applied in numerous ways out in the world. The Block courses are a great way to explore a topic in depth, work closely with similarly-focused students and faculty, and earn credit in the summer. And, of course, May and June are some of the best months to experience Wisconsin!
Students wishing to transfer Beloit Block credit to their current institution should make sure their institution will accept the credit before enrolling. Please contact the Office of Summer Programs at firstname.lastname@example.org or (608) 363-2393 if you are interested in taking a Beloit Blocks course as a visiting student.
Registration for Visiting Students
Undergraduate students from other institutions need to fill out an online application, pay a $35 application fee and have an official copy of their transcript sent to the Office of Summer Programs. Unfortunately, due to the limited amount of financial assistance available, financial assistance is not available for non-Beloit students. Students should see the Financial Aid Office at their own institution to explore possible loan options.
Paying your Visiting Student Application Fee
Students can mail a check or money order for $35 made out to Beloit College Office of Summer Programs. Please include a note with the name of the student and the course name. If students wish to pay online with a credit card, they can use the online payment form that we use for our Summer Fields program. If you use the online method, please send an email to email@example.com with the name of the student and the course name.
