Items that need to be completed and returned are listed first. Links to helpful information can be found at the bottom of the page.

All of the tasks you need to complete are listed here, but you can also locate the checklist in your Becoming a Beloiter: The Guide, which was sent to you by mail.

 If you have questions, feel free to contact the Admissions Office.

Beloit College Housing Agreement and Placement Questionnaire
Instructions were sent in your admission packet, with a due date on or before your date of deposit. Due now.

Here you will find links to email, the Portal, Moodle, updates on campus events, and more.
Activate Beloit College email account
Your username and temporary password were sent by mail with Becoming a Beloiter: The Guide (look in the front pocket). When activated, go to the Terrarium then scroll down and click on the blue "Email" box.
If you are unable to access the Password Manager System, please contact the IT Help Desk at 608-363-2067 or email (state in the subject line that you need password support).
Final transcripts (submit official copy):

High school (must include graduation date)

College transfer credit (if applicable)

AP/IB/GCE A-Level/other credit by exam (if applicable)

Health Forms
The health forms you received by mail may indicate a physical examination is required, however, please know that a physical examination prior to arriving at Beloit is optional. The PDF health forms posted online indicate this. They’re due July 15.
Submit to Health Center
Log in to the Portal to complete the forms listed below (most are due by July 15)

If you are unable to access the Portal, please contact the IT Help Desk at 608-363-2067 or email (state in the subject line that you need "password support"). You can also access the Portal from the Terrarium.

Click on the "New Students" tab at the top to complete:

□ Questionnaire for Advisor
Allow 30-45 minutes to complete; due by July 15.
□ Emergency Contact Information
Due by July 15.
□ FERPA Release Form
Due by July 15.
Authorizing release/disclose of financial aid, billing, and/or tax info to designated individuals.
□ Parental Education Form
Due by August 1.
□ Preferred Name Change (optional)
□ Flight Arrival Information - DOMESTIC
If applicable, due by August 1.
□ Flight Arrival Information - INTERNATIONAL (note arrival date for international students)
If applicable, due by July 15.
□ Vehicle Registration/Parking Permit Request Form (Parking Policy)
Bringing a vehicle is not recommended.
A limited number of permits are issued by lottery.
This request to be included in the lottery must be completed prior to July 1.
Health Insurance Forms
Submit as soon as possible and no later than July 31.
Domestic students: All degree-seeking students must provide proof of health insurance.
Those who do not provide proof of insurance by July 31 will be billed for an insurance plan offered by the college.
You will receive more information by email.
International students: Health insurance coverage is automatic and mandatory. You will be billed.

Due by July 15.
Communications and Marketing
Sexual Assault Awareness Tutorial
Log in on or after June 2. Be sure to complete this tutorial by July 31. It will take about 2 hours.

Order may be completed after June 15 and needs to be submitted by August 1.
Student Engagement and Leadership
Athletics Medical Forms (NCAA athletes only)
You will receive more information from your coach and our athletic trainer, but the deadline for submitting these online forms is July 15.
PLUS Loan Application
If applicable/domestic students only.
Applications may be completed now and are due July 30.
Office of Financial Aid
Federal Direct Loan Processing: Complete Loan Counseling and Master Promissory Note
If applicable/domestic students only.
Forms are completed online and due July 30.

Beloit College and/or Strong Loans: Accept Loan, Complete Loan Counseling and Master Promissory Note
If applicable/domestic students only.
Forms are available beginning May 15, completed online, and due July 30.

Your bill will be sent by mail on June 23, at which time it will also be available on the Portal.

Payment due by August 11.

Tuition Insurance Plan (optional)
Enroll online no later than August 28 (1st day of classes).

• Bike Registration
Bike registration is completed online when you arrive on campus.
Security & Safety Office
Preferred payment method for campus employment and student account refunds
Authorization for Payment on Account/Direct Deposit/Direct Payment

You will complete this form when you arrive on campus.
Human Resources

Bring the following to campus for work authorization, summer grants, and other paid opportunities:
(original documents, not copies)

U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents
U.S. Passport or Permanent Resident Card (unexpired); or
D​river’s license or photo ID AND Social Security card or birth certificate
Note:  If you are under the age of 16, you must bring your Social Security card AND your birth certificate.
Non-U.S. Citizens
Proof of identity and, if applicable, eligibility to work on campus
Students With Bank Accounts
Bank routing and account numbers (a voided check has this information)
