Beloit, WI -- The Buccaneers fell to the visiting Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors today by a score of 8-1.
The point for Beloit came in the form of Priya Heinen defeating Tabitha Schultz in singles competition, 7-5, 6-3.
Meghan Davis held her own in singles against the Warriors Emily Boyd, putting up 2 and 3 points respectively in her match, however falling to Boyd 6-2, 6-3.
Emma Hahn got extremely close to winning her first singles match against Katarina Volkmann, falling 6-4. The second match would be a quicker decision, with the final being 6-0 Volkmann.
In doubles it was more of the same, as the Warriors would beat the Buccaneers in three; 8-3, 8-1, and 8-3.
Beloit's next opponent will be Wartburg College and Lake Forest, in their annual triangular, at the friendly confines of the Strong Stadium Tennis Courts, on September 3rd.
