Pios Pull Past Bucs In Second Half

September 6, 2017

Beloit, WI -- Junior Forward Genesis Dade evened the score for the Bucs 1-1 at 19:48 in the first half, after Carroll opened the scoring just 41 seconds earlier off of a score from Delaney Pruitt, at 19:01.

The Bucs seemed to control, create, and stay with the visiting Pioneers for most of the first half, with the score knotted at 1 at the end of the first.

Carroll came out re-energized from half-time, and scored their second goal quickly, at 46:14 from Rachel Van Sluys. Beloit would score their final goal of the game, which would tie the score at 2 all, off of a Courtney Ceurvorst kick at 51:31.

Carroll went ahead at the 63rd minute from Kimberly Wiley, and added an insurance marker from Sabrina Georgeff to bring the tally to 4-2.

Freshman Connor Keegan-Lloyd went the distance in goal, registering 9 saves.

The Buccaneers host two this coming weekend - University of Wisconsin - Platteville on Saturday at 11:00 AM and Benedictine University on Sunday at 3:00 PM
