Chapman Steps Down as Beloit College Women’s Soccer Coach

June 26, 2017

Beloit, WI – Beloit College’s Head Women’s Soccer coach Nick Chapman has resigned from his position after leading the program for the last four seasons.

Chapman led the Buccaneers from 2013 thru the 2016 season, including a seven-win season in 2015 and the Bucs’ highest finish in the Midwest Conference since 2009.  He coached three All-Midwest Conference players and 34 MWC All-Academic players.

“We’re sad to see Nick leave the Buccaneers,” said Tim Schmiechen, Director of Athletics and Recreation.  “He quickly had a significant positive impact on his students, the Athletics Department, and the college. He has built the Women's Soccer program into a team that has achieved success on the field and in the classroom. We will miss him greatly and wish him and his family nothing but the best for the future.”

A national search for Chapman’s replacement will begin immediately.
