All-MWC Second Team 2009
All-MWC Academic 2008, 2008, 2009
Career Statistics:  66 games, 19 goals, 12 assists, 50 points

Where were you from (when you came here) and where do you live now?

I'm from Milwaukee, WI, completed my student teaching free college in New Zealand, and now I live in Milwaukee again.

What made you chose Beloit College?

My dad had been to the campus and knew good things about the school. I was interested in a liberal arts school because I wasn't sure what I wanted to major in and wanted to explore various paths. We visited the campus, met a few professors and coaches, and I felt an instant connection to Beloit College. Brian Bliese made me feel like a part of the track team before I even went to the school!

What was your position?

I started up top at forward but my junior and senior year I mainly played center midfield. I love the feeling of controlling the game and being a play-maker.

What did you major in at Beloit College?

I double majored in English- Creative Writing and Education, with a minor in journalism.

What is your current occupation?

I currently work as a teacher's aide at a public Montessori school. I have my teaching license but will begin working towards a Montessori certification this summer.

How did Beloit prepare you for your current job?

I took my first education course to "try it out" and I'm so glad I did. The education classes I took and the time inside public schools in Beloit helped prepare me for my own teaching. Kathy Greene and her emphasis on experiential learning was and still is a focal point in my teaching.

What was it like at Beloit, on the team and at school (how did the team shape your Beloit experience as well as vice versa)?

The team was a huge part of my experience at Beloit College. The group was focused on the field and off, while also able to dress up in costumes, spandex, and sparkles for a night out. Bell runs were definitely a thing.

Were you involved with anything else on campus?

I ran track, had a station called, "Anna and Anna's Hip Hop Show" on WBCR with my friend Pip, and was a member of Theta Pi Gama.
