Beloit, WI – Beloit College Head Women’s Soccer Coach Nick Chapman has finalized the 2016 schedule for the Buccaneers.
The Bucs finished 7-9-0 overall, 4-6-0 and sixth in the Midwest Conference in 2015. Their sixth-place finish in the Conference marked their best finish since the 2007 season.
After a pair of scrimmages in late August, the Buccaneers open the season at Carroll University on Thursday night, September 1, at 7:00 p.m. They then play at Marian University in Fond du Lac on Saturday, September 3, before the home opener against Bethany Lutheran College on Sunday, September 4, at 11:00 a.m. at the Strong Complex Soccer Field.
The Bethany Lutheran match begins a three-game home stand before the Bucs play their final non-conference match of the season at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago on Saturday, September 17.
Beloit plays nine straight MWC games beginning with Grinnell College at the Strong Complex for Homecoming Day on Saturday, September 24. The big Homecoming Weekend includes a Sunday match against Knox College, with both of the weekend matches beginning at 3:30 p.m.
The Buccaneers close out the regular season on Saturday, October 29, against Lawrence University at the Strong Complex Field at 2:30 p.m. The MWC Tournament is scheduled to begin on Friday, November 4, at an undetermined site.
