Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer team started quick and never looked back in a 5-1 win over Concordia University Chicago at the Strong Complex Soccer Field Wednesday.
Genesis Dade did all the damage early with three consecutive goals, the first two in a span of 1:47 within the first eight minutes of the game, to stake the Bucs to a lead they wouldn't give up. Lili Hagg, Tegan Rock and Kina McCombs earned assists on Dade's goals.
Rylie Partin made it 4-0 at 64:11, assisted by Jordyn Murch, before the Cougars got their lone goal of the match off a corner kick at 73:45. Mallory Gribble closed out the scoring with under four minutes remaining, unassisted.
Emma Schroer made five saves in net for the win. The teams both had 13 shots while CUC had eight corners to Beloit's five.
The Buccaneers look to keep the momentum going as they hit the road this weekend, playing at Lakeland College on Saturday. Action gets underway at 12:00 noon.
