Buccaneer Women's Soccer Welcomes Accomplished Class of Newcomers

Beloit, WI -- Nick Chapman, third-year head coach for the Beloit College Women's Soccer team, will be welcoming in an accomplished group of 10 newcomers for the 2015 season.

The Bucs get things going on August 17 when the squad checks in to begin preseason practices.

The 10 players are: Courtney Ceurvorst, a midfielder from Ralston Valley High School in Colorado; Candace Cunningham, a defender from Cary Grove High School in Illinois; Genesis Dade, a forward from Centennial High School in California; Sarah Farr, a defender from St. Charles North High School in Illinois; Mallory Gribble, a midfielder from Hononegah High School in Illinois and a transfer from Illinois State University; Lilli Hagg, a midfielder from De La Salle High School in Minnesota; Nikki Hebel, a midfielder from Genoa-Kingston High School in Illinois; Haylee Irwin, a goalkeeper from Edison High School in Minnesota; Heather Metcalfe, a defender from Damonte Ranch High School in Nevada; and Jen Widmer, a forward from Bartlett High School in Illinois.

The Buccaneers begin the 2015 season at Edgewood College in Madison on Tuesday, September 1.  The home opener is set for Saturday, September 5, vs. Rockford University at the Strong Complex Soccer Field.
