First-year Morgan Nicholson moved into fourth in the Beloit College women’s lacrosse record book in season goals after netting six to lead the Buccaneers to a 20-6 win over Monmouth Sunday afternoon.
In the best weather they’ve played in all season, the Bucs compiled their best offensive output with 20 goals on 41 shots including a 6-for-7 mark on free position shots.
Nicholson’s six goals Sunday increase her season total to 46, fourth-most in program history. She added two assists for her second six-goal, two-assist game of the season. Kieran Rodning tallied the most goals she’s scored all season with five while Nicole Dolcimascolo added four and two helpers.
Olivia Nasatir registered her best game of the season with three goals and Fiona Milchman added two goals and an assist in the game.
Goalie Alexa Arakelian continued to impress with some fantastic saves recording eight while picking up the win in net for the Bucs.
Up Next: Beloit’s final game of the season, originally scheduled for Tuesday night against IIT, has been moved to Thursday, April 26 at 7 p.m. at Strong Stadium.
