The Beloit College women's lacrosse team has been picked to finish sixth in the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference by the league's head coaches.
The Buccaneers return two 2017 Second Team All-MWLC selections to the team this season including senior Casey Ryan on the defense and sophomore Nicole Dolcimascolo in the midfield. The duo started all 17 games for Beloit a year ago. Dolcimascolo lead the Bucs with 48 points, a team-high 18 assists and second-best 30 goals in 2017.
Beloit's defense returns three starters to its ranks this season including junior Tate Mitchell and sophomores Olivia Nasatir and Katie LaCost. Sophomore Fiona Milchman also returns as a starter to the Bucs' midfield.
The Bucs open the 2018 season at Elmhust College Wednesday, February 28, slated for a 7 p.m. start.
