Bucs Fall in First Game of Spring Trip

Memphis, TN -- The Beloit College Women's Lacrosse team fell at Rhodes College 17-3 Monday in the first game of a three-game Spring Trip.

Rhodes scored the first nine goals of the game before Libby Storrick hit the back of the net on a free position shot at the 9:14 mark of the first half.  The Lynx scored four more goals to lead 13-1 at the break.

RC continued their run in the second half, scoring four more times before Storrick closed out the game with back-to-back free position scores, at 10:30 and 1:16.

In addition to her three goals Storrick had three caused turnovers.  Marie Bonine made 11 saves in goal and had a team-high five ground balls.

The Buccaneer now head for Alabama, where they take on Huntingdon College in Birmingham Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
