Waukesha, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Lacrosse team had seven student-athletes earn recognition on the 2015 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference All-Academic Team. The squad was released by the Conference office on Thursday.
52 student-athletes Conference-wide were named to the Team. To be named a member of the MLC All-Academic Team, recipients must carry a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 for the academic year.
The Beloit honorees were Marie Bonine, Kelley Flint, Marci McClenon, Vanessa Pena,
Emma Schroer, Libby Storrick and Yuri Wada.
The Buccaneers tied for the third-most honorees in the league, with Concordia University, behind Wartburg College (11) and Aurora University (10).
The Buccaneers finished 9-7 overall, 5-2 in MWLC play and advanced to the MWLC Tournament for the first time.
