Beloit, WI – Beloit College Women’s Basketball Head Coach Gloria Bradley has announced that Teshona Bennett will join her staff as the team’s assistant coach. Bennett’s first game on the bench was the Saturday, January 28 victory over Monmouth College.
A native of Kenosha, Bennett comes to Beloit College from Beloit Memorial High School, where she had served as the Varsity Girls Basketball Coach since the Summer of 2015. Prior to Beloit Memorial she was a Girl’s Basketball and Volleyball coach in the Whitewater School District. She also has coaching experience at Kids Across America in Golden, Missouri, where she was Basketball head coach and Camp Counselor for three years.
A 2011 graduate of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where she earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and Coaching, Bennett played two seasons for the Warhawk Women’s Basketball team. In her second season she was part of the WIAC Championship team as well as the third place team in the NCAA Division Championship Tournament. She will complete her Masters in Professional Studies with an emphasis on Athletic Administration from UW-Whitewater in 2018.
