Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Basketball team couldn't change the grip that Loras College has on the teams' all-time series in a 71-44 setback on Saturday afternoon in Flood Arena.

The Bucs got the deficit down to seven points three times but trailed 20-10 at the end of one. A 7-3 Beloit run to open the second quarter got the Bucs within 23-17 with 6:03 left in the half before Loras put together an 8-0 run to move up 31-17 three minutes later. The DuHawks led 35-24 at the break.
LC turned things up to open the second half, sprinting out of the lockerroom on a 15-0 run that gave them a 50-24 lead with 4:39 left in the third quarter. Beloit couldn't get closer than 20 the rest of the way, the last time one minute into the fourth quarter. Loras' biggest lead was 29 at 71-42 with 1:52 remaining.
