September 9, 2017

Milwaukee, WI -- In the second day of the MSOE Invitational, Beloit got to taste some sweet revenge, earning a win in their rematch against Alverno College, winning 3-1 (18-25)(25-18)(25-13)(25-18).

The Inferno earned a quick win over the Bucs in set 1, but afterwards it was all Beloit.

Freshman Evan Laun-Smith made her mark early and often, as she has been doing all season, with 7 kills and 2 digs. Two more Bucs hit 7 kills, both Amanda Baran and Jaylan Dunn.

Baran also led the team in digs, with 16. Junior Libero was right behind Baran, earning 13 digs.

The last three sets, Beloit wouldn't allow Alverno to hit 20, before closing out the Inferno.

The 2017 Bucs earned their 3rd win of the season at the MSOE Invite, and move to 3-5 overall. Beloit's last game of the tournament is Central College, on Court 2 in the MSOE gym.
