The Bucs had been denied the MWC Tourney crown and the NCAA bid the last two seasons in losses to the Green Knights. They made sure it wouldn't happen a third straight time.
The Bucs went 19-12 on the season and 7-2 in MWC play, tying with Monmouth for the Championship, which the Fighting Scots won based on the teams' head-to-head meeting, won by MC 3-1 in Beloit back on October 1.
Playing as the #2 seed at Tourney-host Monmouth, Beloit defeated Lake Forest College, the only other MWC team to defeat them during the regular season, 3-1. They then downed St. Norbert, the #4 seed who got past Monmouth in the semifinals, 3-0 to claim the Tournament title and the automatic NCAA Division III Tournament bid.
Beloit played in the NCAA Regional at Carthage College, where they fell to top-ranked Washington University 3-0.

Buccaneers Power Thru to First MWC Title in 11 Seasons
After dropping their opening match of MWC play vs. Lake Forest College during the MWC Crossover on September 23, the Bucs swept thru the rest of the Conference slate to finish 8-1, including 21-8 overall, to capture their first MWC Volleyball Championship since the 1995 season.
Beloit hosted the MWC Tournament and defeated #5-seed St. Norbert 3-1 in the semifinals before shutting down #2-seed Carroll 3-0 in the Championship match to earn the Conference's NCAA Division III Tournament bid.
The Buccaneers traveled to UW-Eau Claire to take on Concordia University-Moorhead of Minnesota, falling 3-1.

Beloit Captures First MWC Volleyball Championship
Beloit College grabbed their first-ever Midwest Conference Volleyball Championship with a four-set win over host Illinois College in the MWC Tournament title match.
The Bucs won the MWC North Division with a perfect 5-0 mark, topping St. Norbert in the deciding match with a close 3-1 win in De Pere.
At the MWC Tournament, Beloit defeated South Division runner-up Knox 3-0 before topping South Division Champion IC 3-1, winning both of the final two sets 15-13.
