A Second and Three Thirds Highlight Bucs' Effort at UW-Platteville Invite

Platteville, WI -- The Beloit College Indoor Track & Field team put together some top finishes against good competition at the non-scoring UW-Platteville Invite Saturday.

Ellie Waddle led the way with a runner-up finish in the Mile and Aleeshah Heinzen was third in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump.  The Men's 4x200m Relay of Jason Dormon, Jose Gutierrez, Dewight Walker and Jake westrich rounded out the top-three finisher efforts.

Earning top-eight finishes were the Women's 4x200m Relay of Heinzen, Sophia Miliotis, Jourdan Plautz and Melissa Pelkey in fourth; Walker, fourth in the Triple Jump; Dormon, fifth in the High Jump; and the Women's 4x400m Relay of Waddle, Pelkey, Miliotis and Heinzen and Men's 4x400m Relay of Gutierrez, Walker, Charles Sandberg and Westrich, both seventh.

Beloit has their final tune-up for the Midwest Conference Indoor Championships when they compete at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge next Saturday.  Action begins at 10:30 a.m.
