Bucs Get Back in the Pool with Dual vs. UW-Oshkosh

Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving team, after a month-plus layoff, were back in the pool on Saturday afternoon at Kresge Natatorium for a dual meet with UW-Oshkosh.

The Titans took both ends of the meet, topping the Women 134-52 and slipping past the Men 97-85.

Six Buccaneers accounted for six winning finishes, led by Joe Stephenson's victories in the 200 and 100 Free.  Tommy Silk won the 50 Free; Emma Frothingham the 400 IM; and Meshach Roberts the 200 Back.  The Men's 400 Medley Relay of Roberts, Johnny Li, Aaron Jolly and Silk also touched first.

Earning seconds were Amalia Dolan in the 1650 Free; Katie Kenny in the 50 and 100 Free; Jolly in the 200 Fly; Matthew Shea in the 200 Back; and Al Nichols in the 500 Free.

Beloit continues its push toward the Midwest Conference Championships next Friday night with a dual meet at Loras College in Dubuque.  Action begins at 6:00 p.m.
