Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving teams hosted a double dual in Kresge Natatorium on Saturday, with the Men defeating Simpson College and falling to Ripon College and the Women falling to both teams.
The Buccaneer Men defeated Simpson 93-87 and lost to Ripon 97-87 while the Women fell to Simpson 150-38 and Ripon 167-28.
Meshach Roberts won the 1000 Free and 100 Back and led off the winning 200 Medley Relay to pace Beloit. Joe Stephenson anchored the 200 Medley Relay and finished second in both the 200 and 100 Free. Johnny Li swam the second leg in the Relay and also finished second in the 100 Breast. Tommy Silk swam the third leg of the Relay and was third in the 50 Free.
Other seconds were turned in by Katrina Dwyer in the 500 Free and Aaron Jolly, who was also third in the 100 Breast, in the 100 Fly.
Matthew Shea finished third in both the 100 Fly and 500 Free and Karl Wiler was third in the 200 Free.
The Buccaneers are now off until Saturday, December 3, when they compete in the Illinois Tech Invite in Chicago.
