Bucs Split Dual at Lawrence; Roberts Wins 3 Events

Appleton, WI -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving team had mixed results in their dual meet at Lawrence University on Saturday, with the Men getting seven first-place finishes and winning the dual 101-81 while the Women fell to the Vikings 157-31.

Meshach Roberts earned three of those seven victories, with Joe Stephenson and Tommy Silk both winning twice.

Roberts touched the wall first in the 1000 Free, the 200 IM and the 500 Free.  Stephenson took the 200 Free and 100 Free and Silk grabbed the 50 Free and 100 Back.

For the Women Katie Kennedy was second in the 100 Fly and Katrina Dwyer was second in the 100 Back.  The Women's 200 Medley Relay of Amalia Dolan, Dwyer, Kennedy and Maddy Stein also finished second.

The Buccaneers participate in the annual Ted Mullin Hour of Power in Kresge Natatorium on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. before heading to the Monmouth College Invite next Saturday, with action beginning at 1:00 p.m.
