Buccaneers Compete at Wisconsin Private Schools Meet

Kenosha, WI -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving team competed at the Wisconsin Private Schools Meet at Carthage College on Saturday, with the Men finishing fourth and the Women fifth.

Meshach Roberts had the top finish of the day for Beloit with a second in the 200 Back.  Dana Olesch finished fifth in the 100 Fly to lead the Women.

Johnny Li and Joe Stephenson each finished top eight in three events, with Li fourth in the 400 IM, fifth in the 100 Breast and eighth in the 200 Breast.  Stephenson was fifth in both the 50 and 200 Free and seventh in the 100 Free.

Aaron Jolly was fourth in both the 200 Fly and 200 Breast while Matt Shea was sixth in the 200 Back and eighth in the 500 Free.

Both the Women's and Men's 200 Medley Relay finished seventh.  The Women's foursome was Katrina Dwyer, Hannah Devereux, Alyssa Nichols and Alex Kohn while the Men's team was Roberts, Li, Jolly and Stephenson.  The Men's 400 Free Relay of Charles Spalding, David Ortiz, Alan Brint and Max Moderski was eighth.

Beloit closes out the regular season next Saturday when they host Knox College for Senior Day in Kresge Natatorium.  Action begins at 1:00 p.m.
