Buccaneer Swimming & Diving Falls at IIT in First Dual of Season

Chicago, IL -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving team had their first dual meet of the season on Saturday at Illinois Institute of Technology, with the Women falling 158-61 and the Men 165-37.

Alyssa Nichols had two of the four first-place finishes for the Bucs, winning the 500 and 1000 Free.  Alex Kohn in the 50 Free and Dana Olesch in the 100 Fly had the other victories.

Earning second-place finishes for Beloit were Meshach Roberts in the 200 Free; Joseph Stephenson in the 50 and 100 Free; Aaron Jolly in the 200 IM; and the Women's 200 Free Relay of Nichols, Kohn, Amalia Dolan and Olesch.

The Buccaneers have their home debut next Saturday when they host Lawrence University at Kresge Natatorium.  Action gets underway at 1:00 p.m.
