Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving team touched the wall first in 12 events in a dual meet against UW-Oshkosh on Friday night, the final home meet of the 2014-15 season.
UW-Oshkosh took both ends of the dual 146-99 on the Women's side and 124-115 for the Men.
Ten seniors finished up their Kresge Natatorium careers in the meet: Anna Freyfogle, Alicia Hoffman, Hannah Richter, Haleigh Thomas, Gavin Kratzke, Will McAneny, Spencer Moore, Matt Sherrell, Thomas Szamocki and Rutger Van Huber.
The Women's team posted five firsts with Dana Olesch winning both the 200 Fly and 100 Fly. Shaunte Moss took the 100 Breast; Emma Frothingham won the 400 IM; and the 200 Free Relay of Hannah Devereux, Amalia Dolan, Olesch, and Hoffman finished on top.
For the Men McAneny made his final home meet a big one with three individual firsts and a part of a winning relay. He won the 200 Free, 100 Free and 400 IM. Also gaining a top finish were Kyle May in the 1650 Free; Austin Smith in the 50 Free; Kratzke in the 200 Back; and the 200 Medley Relay of Johnny Li, McAneny, May and Smith.
The Buccaneers have their final tune-up before the Midwest Conference Championships when they compete at the Wisconsin Private Colleges Meet at Carthage College in Kenosha next Saturday. Action begins at 12 noon.
