Mt. Vernon, IA -- The Beloit College Men's Soccer team followed Isaiah Turner-Wyatt's senior leadership Saturday on the way to a 2-1 win at Cornell College.
Turner-Wyatt scored both Buccaneer goals in a come-from-behind win.
After Cornell scored first at the 27:35 mark, Turner-Wyatt tied it up at 33:04, assisted by Rikley Buckingham. The score remained 1-1 until Turner-Wyatt found the back of the net at 70:13 to get the Bucs back to .500 in Midwest Conference play.
Jere Bauer made four saves in net for the win. The Buccaneers had 12 shots to CC's eight and seven corner kicks to the Rams' three.
Beloit looks to continue their momentum as they hit the final week of the regular season. They play at Lake Forest College on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. before traveling to Grinnell College for the season finale next Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
