Milwaukee, WI -- Mark Gannon, a sophomore attacker from Bellingham, Washington (Sehome) for the Beloit College Men's Lacrosse team, has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 12.
Gannon scored four goals and assisted on four others as the Buccaneers split a pair of games last week on their Spring Break trip out East. He had a goal and an assist in a loss at Marymount University of Virginia on March 8 and then tallied three goals and three assists in a 17-14 victory over Cazenovia College at Johns Hopkins University on March 10.
In four games this season Gannon leads the Bucs with nine goals and eight assists for 17 points. He has a .706 percentage on shots on goal.
Beloit (2-2) begins MLC play on Wednesday when they travel to Benedictine University for a 7:00 p.m. game.
