Beloit's Matthew Miller, a junior international relations major, has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court for maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher after the 2017-18 academic year.
According to a press release, "The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts that these men possess off the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom." Eligible student-athletes must be of junior or senior academic standing, hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2017-18 academic year and have been enrolled at least one year at their current institution. The NABC Honors Court recognizes student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III or NAIA member institutions.
The Buccaneers have been represented on the Honors Court by at least one student-athlete for six straight years.
