Kansas City, MO -- Four members of the 2015-16 Beloit College Men's Basketball team have earned mention on the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honor Court.
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria, including:
1. Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player.
2. Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2015-16 academic year.
3. Students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
4. Member of a NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institution with a NABC member coach.
Senior Rudy Bentley (Business Economics, Madison, Wis./East) and juniors Andrew Bremner (Physics, Boulder, Colo./Shining Waldorf Mountain School), Mike Gulve (Physics, St. Louis, Mo./Webster Groves) and Carlton Henning (Biochemistry, Marshall, Wis.) were part of the class of honorees.
The Bucs’ four honorees were tied with Lake Forest College and Ripon College among MWC teams, with Illinois College putting three on the squad and Lawrence two.
