Beloit, WI – The Beloit College Basketball teams will be “Playing for the Cure” on Tuesday night when they host Lawrence University in Flood Arena.
The Women’s game begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Men’s game.
This is the fifth year the Midwest Conference is supporting this umbrella cancer initiative. Play for the Cure aims to promote awareness for early detection of cancer and raise funds dedicated to cancer research and prevention. The American Cancer Society is currently funding multiple research grants in the state of Wisconsin totaling millions of dollars.
The MWC Winter Play for the Cure runs through Sunday, February 15. The Spring Play for the Cure will run from April 10-19.
Play for the Cure wristbands and pins will be available at the entrance of Flood Arena, in addition to a special can with an opportunity to donate to the cause.
