Duerr Finalizes Coaching Staff for 2015 Buccaneer Football Season

Beloit, WI – Beloit College Head Football Coach Seth Duerr, preparing for his second season with the Buccaneers, has announced his staff for the upcoming 2015 season, including changes in position assignments.

Mike Wilson enters his seventh season on the coaching staff and will again serve as the team’s Defensive Coordinator and defensive backs coach.  Jake Marshall, in his second season, will be the co-Offensive Coordinator and wide receivers coach.  Former Buccaneer standout Jeremy Warren ‘96, also in his second season, will be co-Offensive Coordinator and quarterbacks coach.  Cody Schultz, in his second season, will be the Special Teams Coordinator and defensive line coach.  Matt Lee begins his third season on the staff and will coach the running backs.

Newcomers to the staff include Matt Keith, who will coach the offensive line, a 2015 graduate of the University of Mount Union and a four-year offensive lineman for a program that went 57-3 during his career, including four OAC championships and the 2012 NCAA Division III National Championship; Joe Carmody, who will coach the tight ends, a 2013 Beloit graduate who was a four-year starter on the defensive line for the Bucs; and Nick Schneider, who will be the defensive assistant, a graduate of UW-Whitewater who is working on his Masters degree.  He comes to Beloit after coaching at Milton High School.

The Buccaneers open the 2015 season on Saturday, September 5, at Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Illinois.  The home opener on September 19 at Strong Stadium is also the annual Homecoming Game, with Lawrence University coming to town for the 1:00 p.m. kickoff.
